| Known for it's long "whiskers" that emanate from the flower scape. The scape is nearly black in color, with some purple as are the long , broad leaf blades which give the plant the name of "Black Bat Flower". This Malaysian perennial is always in demand. Produces 2' leaves, 10" wide with angular pleats in the leaves. Requires constant warmth, high humidity & bright light. Dormant in winter months. |
