| NOT AVAILABLE - NEXT AVAILABILITY IS UNCERTAIN. DO NOT ORDER. Of Polynesian origin, this slender beauty grows to 14' and produces blunt shaped fruits similar to the Hua Moa. The leaves are burgandy beneath, and this color matches its red/pink pseudostem and petioles. The pulp of the fruit is a salmon/pink color with a flavor that is pleasantly sub acid and apple-like. For a special treat it may be tried cooked with cinnamon and brown sugar - as can the Hua Moa variety. Not for export. |
