| Beautiful Japanese maple grown for its striking bronze/red leaves which turn bright red in the late fall months. Slow growing to 13'. Deeply cut palmate leaves appear in clusters. Excellent as an outdoor ornamental or landscape tree. Often used as a bonsai. Hardy Zone 6. |
Germination for: ACER atropurpurea Japanese Maple
The seeds have been stratified. Plant in 1/4" of soil mixture. keep damp and in bright light. Ideal planting temperatures 40 - 58F.
