This is the monarch of native Hawaiian forest trees. Height varies from 60' to 100'with a dark green spreading crown of crescent shaped "leaves". Under perfect conditions the hard, straight trunks may be seen growing to 80' with 10' trunks. Greatly valued for it's beautiful red wood with wavy lines. |
