Growing Instructions & Tips: |
| Hardy to 20 below zero. It develops a 2' trunk with stiff leaves in a basal rosette. Clusters of yellow flowers are formed on it's stalk. Edible stalk and buds. |
Germination for: AGAVE Utahensis
Barely cover the small seeds using well draining soil mixture plus the addition of 30% coarse sand. Provide filtered sunlight. After germination of the seeds you can top the area with a little more soil mixture. Over a period of two weeks you may gradually move the plants into brighter light.
