| An exceptional Yucca having beautiful blue-grey blades to 2' tipped with a very sharp spines. A young plant may resemble a hedgehog as it is covered with its numerous spike like leaves. With age it develops a stout upright trunk and will begin to branch. It is a Mexican native that can withstand a temperature of 10 degrees F. and can reach a height of 14' |
Germination for: YUCCA rigida "Blue yucca"
Use well draining soil mixture and add to it 30% coarse sand. Barely cover the thin, flat seeds - do not bury them. You may moisten by misting them daily or carefully water only enough that the surface area is lightly moist. Filtered sunlight until they are large enough to gradually move into brighter sun.
