Growing Instructions & Tips: |
| A twining nearly erect annual to 6'. Very similar to C. ensiformis. Not edible. Sometimes grown as an ornamental with very attractive pink/purple papilionaceous flowers. Requires a long, warm growing season. The 1" seeds are bright pink. |
Germination for: CANAVALIA gladiata - Swordbean ( pink seed )
Using well draining soil mix ture plant at a depth if 1 1/2" keep very warm, damp and in full sun. Fertilize weekly.
