| Origin: China. An interesting shrubby ornamental to 9' that can grow from zones 6 to 9. Produces large 4" saucer shaped flowers with yellow centers and white petals turning pink to cream. Its 4" ovate leaves are rough on surface. Grows in filtered sunlight. |
Germination for: CALYCANTHUS chinensis "Chinese allspice"
In semi-shaded area plant in soil mixture at 3/4" depth. Keep damp. Slow germinating - up to 5 months.
