Growing Instructions & Tips: |
| One of the showiest of the Caesalpinias. Shrubby tree to 50' with grey bark and armed with spikelets. It's 4' fruits and the seeds are edible. The bark has been used as a toothache remedy and the wood makes good charcoal. Produces large yellow flowers in long racemes. For hot, warm zones 9 - 10. |
Germination for: CAESALPINIA cacalaco "Cascalote"
Plant at 3/4" depth in well draining soil mix. Keep warm, damp and in bright light.
