| Orchid-like flowers emerge from the bracts of this spiraling stalked ginger. The flowers are white with yellow and tinged pink. Numerous leaves are spirally arranged the length of the 18' stalk. A refreshing drink is made from the edible stalk with addition of sugar. |
Germination for: COSTUS guaniensis "Spiral ginger"
Plant as soon as received. Plant at 1/2" depth using well draining soil mixture. Keep warm, damp and in bright light.
