| This is the best known of the Cycads. Slow growing, beautiful leaves to 8' with stiff thin leaflets, with sharp spines on the stems; heavy trunked. Often called a "Living fossil" as Cycads represent one of the most primative of living seed plants dating to the Mesazoic era. Our packet size is 3 large heavy seeds. The weight could cause a small increase in the postage charge if your order is very small. The weight of 3 seeds is approximately 1 ounce. The 100 seed weight is a little more than 2 lb. The weight may cause your postage to be a little higher than expected as the shipping cost of large heavy seeds is determined by the actual cost of shipping - not from the postal chart that is on our website. Germination for: CYCAS revoluta SAGO PALM
Using a well draining type of soil mixture plant at the depth of 1 1/2" laying the seed flat. Keep soil damp. Requires warmth. Grow in filtered sunlight or bright light. Germination can take 3 to 8 weeks.
