| Fast growing deciduous foliage tree for frost free zones. Oval lanceolate leaves. The bark and the trunk are grey and very smooth. Small greenish flowers occur in spring followed by small dark purple fruits which are sweet and edible but usually quickly consumed by the birds. Grows to 80'. |

Plant as soon as received, at 1" depth using well draining soil mixture. Keep warm, damp and in bright light.
