	This uncommon Mexican cycad has a palm-like appearance. It has dense thin leaflets and an erect slender trunk to 16'. The young leaves are a translucent blue-green. The mature leaves arch gracefully to 7' and may have up to 240 light green leaflets. The seeds are quite large weighing approximately one ounce each. Our packet size contains 2 very large seeds which are each about the size of a MEDIUM SIZE EGG. The weight of these seeds may reflect an increase in the shipping cost. There are approximately 20 seeds in one pound, 100 seed weight is 5lb.	Germination for: DIOON spinulosum Plant the large seeds upright - the tufted end is the top. Cover with 2 1/2" well draining soil mix. Keep damp, always warm and in partial shade or filtered sun. Fertilize monthly.
