At this point its being tried as a juice. It's high in vitamin C, and the taste is acidic. There is some commercial merits in its future but to materialize may take more time. To most of the civilized world this is an unknown fruit. We are growing it and are now offering the seeds. (Plants are not offered). Its oval leaves are alternate on willowy stems. The height is a shrubby 5' with smooth red 2" fruits. This attractive tropical tree may be easily grown indoors with bright light and warmth.	Germination for: EUGENIA stipitata Plant at 1" depth using well draining soil mixture. Must be kept warm. Requires bright light and high humidity. Keep lightly moist.
