This is a very fast growing, cold tolerant Cycad found on limestone mountains in Northern Thailand near the Laos border. Winter temperature in this area may go as low as 25 degrees Fahrenheit and the plants can be covered with snow and ice. It's height when mature is 25' with its stem becoming almost white. Sometimes 2-3 heads may develop on a plant with leaves 4' long. We offer small 2 year old plants with 2 or 3 leaves and a long tuberous carrot-like root.
