Grows to 12'with upright red bracts. The large flower head is twice the size of the red purpurata. Small white flowers emerge from the flower bract. It has lanceolate leaves up to 4' in length. Numerous new plants will develop from the rhizome. May be grown in full sun to part shade. Most of the ginger rhizomes that we offer are freshly cut and ready for immediate planting. NOT FOR EXPORT. |
