May grow 2' or up to 9'. Often flowering all year. It produces 3 -5 upright bracts in somewhat variable colors usually with the cheeks orange to red and an infusion of colors in the sepals and rachis - red, orange, green, yellow, and some metallic black. Found in the Guyanas full sun to 50% shade. Musoid foliage. NOT FOR EXPORT. |
