Growing Instructions & Tips: |
| From the Andes, a shrubby plant which produces very attractive, large goose egg shaped glossy fruits. The fruit are are cream colored with a prominent purple pattern on the skin. Excellent in fruit salads and vegetable salads, or cooked with other vegetables. Very small seeds. |
Germination for: PEPINO / Solanum muricatum
Broadcast the small seeds onto the surface of your soil. Your soil shoud be comprised of a well draining type of soil mix, to which you may add 20% coarse sand. Requires warmth, high humidity, and fitered sunlight. Keep soil only lightly damp. Fertilize weekly.
