| A stout handsome palmate palm to 38' with waxy-blue palmate leaves deeply cut into many segments. The large fan leaves are up to 5' wide. Hardy to 18F degrees. The heavy seeds do not compute on our postal chart. We charge the actual cost of the postage for all heavy types of seed. 100 seeds of B.armata weighs 4.1 ounces, 1,000 seeds weigh 2 lb. 10 ounces. |
Germination for: BRAHEA armata - "Mexican blue palm"
Pre-soak seeds for 4 days before planting. Plant 1" in Soil mixture. Place in bright light. Keep warm and damp. Likes high humidity. Slow germinating and may take 10 weeks or more to germinate.
