The trunk creeps along the ground for several feet producing new roots before turning upright and growing to a height of 5'. The leaf petiole is spiny and grows to 5' followed by pinnate leaves that reach 12' or more with flat leaflets that are up to 4' long. The heavy ovoid seeds are 3/4" long and may affect the cost of postage depending on the quantity ordered. |
The next type in the Palms trees Category is: GEONOMA macrostachys.
