Growing Instructions & Tips:
Using well draining soil mixture plant at 1 1/2" depth. Keep warm and damp and in bright light. Ideal temperature is 72 degrees F. A wait of over one year for germination is not uncommon but there is a much faster method which entails the careful cracking of the seed and then planting it. This method can give success in 160 days.

A beautiful massive trunk palm to 30' known for it's production of Palm honey and the delicious tasting kernels. Requires considerable warmth - OK for S. Calif. Pinnate leaved to 12'. Our packet size consists of 3 large, heavy, marble size seeds. May require additional postage due to large size and weight. The weight for 100 seeds is approximately 1 1/2 lb.
