A beautiful, small orchid that is one of the easiest to grow. It is hardy to zone 8 and is easily grown in the home. Should be placed in bright light. The 1 1/2" flowers are bright purple/pink, and are five petaled with a dark purple throat trilled with light stripes. It has long thin leaves that are enhanced with longitudinal pleats. We offer small tubers that should be planted in a soil mixture of coarse sand and loam. May be left outside in northern zones if covered with mulch. |
