| Our small plants are usually 7" to 9" in height and are shipped bareroot. The trunk is clearly ball shaped and tapers upward where it is met by the emergence of its thin ribbon-like leaves which hang gracefully around the circumferance of the top. With age the trunk continues to enlarge and increases the esthetic value of the plant. Extremely popular and easy to grow. Offered at an exceptionally low price. |
Germination for: PONY TAIL - Beaucarnia recurvata
Plant in well draining soil mixture - do not plant in potting soil or any dense type soils or you run the risk of rotting the plant. Provide bright light and keep warm and lightly moist. Can also be grown in less light but only if you water when the soil is quite dry.
