Growing Instructions & Tips: |
| A necessary plant for those that collect caudiciforms (swollen trunks), or uncommon succulents. It is slow growing and thick stemmed with a smooth trunk that becomes swollen and somewhat contorted with age. Known for its carmine-rose flowers and unique trunk. Our plants are 4 1/2"- 5 1/2" in height and are nearly 2 years old. The caudex width is approximately 1" - 1 1/2". Shipped bare rooted. We ship them by priority mail - 1 lb or less cost is usually $$4.80. Not for export. NOTE: Our plants are not in flower and are without leavesThe photo represents older more developed plant with numerous stems. |
Germination for: DESERT ROSE - Adenium obesum
Plant in well draining soil mixture. Provide constant warmth and bright light. Water when soil is quite dry. Do not keep wet = water sparingly as a cactus.
