Growing Instructions & Tips: |
| The Bird of Paradise produces flowering bracts that are shaped as a bird's beak. When in flower the emerging colors are orange, brown, & blue. Its leathery sword shape leaves grow stiffly upright to 4'. Our plants are 11"-16" tall and well rooted - they are shipped bare root. Additional packing is used for winter insulation. Shipped by Priority Mail. Because of the size of the plants shipping may require a larger box that will affect the postage. You may specify the actual size you desire - the cost is still only $6.95 for 1 unit. The postage will be determined by the actual weight of the boxed plant. |
Germination for: BIRD OF PARADISE - Strelitzia reginae
Plant immediately in a well draining soil mixture and keep warm, damp, and in bright light with high humidity. Fertilize lightly with each watering.
