shipping information

All domestic orders are shipped in padded, priority mail envelopes or in USPS priority mailboxes. We ship all year and most orders are shipped within 3 business days.

Foreign Orders

A large amount of our business is comprised of foreign orders. The USDA now requires a PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATE which is a document that certifies that the seeds have been inspected and meet the permit requirements of your country. The fee for a certificate is $35.00 and is added to the cost of your order. It is your responsibility to provide us with any permits that may be required by your country. If you are not sure you can contact your department of agriculture to inquire if your order has restrictions.

General growing care

When caring for your tropical seeds or banana tree plant, using the proper soil mixture is of the utmost importance. Well-draining soil mixtures that are comprised of 15% sand or perlite are usually the best type to use for most of our products. Most require bright light and humidity and can be grown indoors but thrive better outdoors.  Growing instructions are already on the tropical plant seeds and bulbs product that you order from us. In many cold regions growing indoors with warm greenhouse conditions and high intensity lighting has become a common practice. To grow in an average home, it may require you to become creative by selecting an adequate space to grow sealing wax palm seeds, which can also handle humidity levels that can be quite high and the installation of sufficient lighting.
